Again, I say: Who cares? (Plus, I haven’t seen them, have you?)
Actually, it’s a nearly impossible dress to wear. Not only do you need someone to zip you in; it’s also extremely stiff, making me feel a bit like an underdressed Marie Antoinette. But again I say: Who cares?!?
What's your take on peplum? Love it? Hate it? Already totally over it?...

I think the dress is fantastic! The tiered layers and peplum are pretty much timeless but updated in the denim look. I would guess that the stiff material would provide a slimming effect, despite the discomfort... like a corset? Never saw the Topshop versions either, but then again, I don't think anyone would ever mistake this dress for a Topshop fad... their stuff (unfortunately) never looks like something you'd wear forever.
Oh, and it is advisable not to start a Kirkwood obsession ;-) I love his shoes, but I've had to show a great deal of self-restraint in not buying his entire collection...
My take is that i LOVE IT!!! The shape is insanely flattering on you and it is just a gorgeous dress!! I love your backdrop as well ;)

I'm not sure how I feel about the peplum... part of me thinks I really don't need any extra width about my hips! And the other part is in love with the frivolous nature of them. Utterly useless, but so pretty.
The dress is darling, who cares about its impracticalities? Also, the denim might soften as its worn. I love aged denim. :)
