Translating the Trends #3
Olive, military green, khaki… call it what you will, you don’t need me to tell you that camouflage colour is super hip. What started with parkas and jackets has now moved down the body. Who would have thought we’d ever see them again... Dries van Noten even re-introduced the cargo pants (and skirts!).

boots: miu miu, jacket: le chateau, trousers: fat face, t-shirt: 2nd hand, bag & necklace: diy

Pretty background! And I love the way you're translating trends from off the runway. I don't think the military look would work on me!

What a stunning setting in the greenest green, Sabine!
Olive, military green, khaki ... gorgeous mix of colors!!!
And I love the photo of the multicolored bag and necklace!!!!

Liebe Grüße aus dem immer noch so kalten Deutschland! Wo ist der Frühling? ... bei der Sabine ;)

Oh Martina, honestly I froze off my fingers doing these pictures. It looks sunny and warm, but the wind was arctic. I think we all are still waiting for spring...

I love the fact that you chose to go with a very simple toned down version of the military trend... a more utilitarian approach, which I prefer. I'm already tired of seeing the faux shrapnel holed t-shirts a la Balmain (and copied heavilly by Zara). My sister in law is in the British Air Force... I need to tell her how trendy her uniform as become ;-) Although I already know that for some reason the Bundeswehr jackets become immensely popular, especially in Asia. Very bizarre...

I think khaki is amazing and I always feel like a ninja whenver I wear it. I'm actually currently lusting over this really light khaki parka jacket in Topshop, but I don't know if it's actually worth buying...!
Anyway, this outfit is cooler than cool, and I'm actually really loving the cropped trousers/high boots look.

Thank you for your lovely comments - Yes, I thought green hues should be photographed in nature.

Linda - no, sadly I've never been to Turin. But hopefully one day.
