London | The Big Stampede

Here they are! These are just a few of the 258 elephants stomping through London from May to July for the protection of the Asian elephant. I haven’t seen the jewel covered one Fashionistable was raving about (Oh, I would love that one for my back garden), but I think they are all great.

Apart from that they are looking beautiful and are supporting a great cause I just love how people interact with them. Climbing on top or resting your tired body against them are just a two possibilites… Aren't they fun?

How fun! I would be the person climbing over them all and begging my husband to take tons of pictures of me Why do I not live in England?

PS.... I mentioned you on my blog today.

Super sweet. I love elephants! We once had the same idea of decorated animals here in Copenhagen, only ours was cows. I would love to see the elephants for myself, maybe it is time I take a trip to London? :-) Sandra (I have an animal on my blog today too)

I LOVED seeing these on my trip! They've done similar things in america over the last decade and it's always welcome!

Yes, I heard similar projects have been running in other places (and for other animals).

Dancing Branflake & Sandra - I agree, it's definitely time for a trip to London! We even had good weather lately - and we could meet up for a coffee and a chat and some London discovery!

Great project...I love elefant...the photos are amazing

Did know about these, but really good idea, they all look great! I think someone did something similar a few years ago, but with cows, it was equally stunning. Anyhow, ya Helmut Lang is making a comeback, but this time in the contemporary department along with Elizabeth&James, Rag&Bone, Alexander Wang. And the quality seemed to be good, at least the cardigan is really nicely done and the fabric is awesome, very soft. Anyhow, I saw you wore the dress to the party. Hope you had fun, cuz you looked great!
