Psynopsis Streetstyle Berlin Vintage Leather Backpack
Don't you agree that cycling is one of the best ways to get around? Plus it adds sense to a super fashionable item: the backpack.

I quite liked this old, battered black leather one, but I’m still searching for the perfect rucksack. Have any of you found 'the one'?

Your rucsack looks fine to me.
As for cycling: I do not cycle.
I ride horses, play tennis, polo, squash and I walk alot. I was brought up to play games, not to cycle. LOL. Blame my mama and papa for that. Your bicycle looks very nice amongst the trees, and of course, you are lovely as always, my dear sweet friend;-)

Thank you! It's never too late to learn something new, hun ;-)

Actually, I have tried it. I discovered that it's not the form of pleasure I enjoy;-)

Yes, I love cycling! I do cycle when the weather is warmer or most of the time, over the weekend :)

Your backpack is cool looking! I've recently found mine and I can't stop using it, I love it to bits! You can see it here http://www.tyusdei.com/2010/05/clash-of-titans.html

Got it in Aldo... for men hihihi :)

P.S.
Lovin your hot skirt!

Do you realize how much I've been wanting a bike?! It's been on my "wish list" for ever! I don't know how consistent I would be with riding it, but I'd like to consider myself a "biker", even though I haven't ridden one in ages ;o)

Ah, I love bikes - and bags! I have been coveting a cruiser myself - it would be so nice to have one in order to take peaceful rides during the summer! :)

Backpacks have become very covetable recently, and I love it! Yours is a perfect example of the backpack I would want.

As always these are great shots. The light is beautiful. I havent been on a bike of years. Yours looks lovely. Good solid bike. Thank you for your lovely comment yesterday. Re the bravery - it is just a state of mind. 99% of people I ask say yes and I am always amazed how generous they are with their time. You should try it and see. Are you thinking of expanding into street fashion? Xxxx

Yeap, I actually liked this backpack, too; but I borrowed it from my mum and I can't just steall everything from her (it's a bit of a habit of mine). When I go to Berlin I always borrow one of my brother's 10 or so bicycles. He's a fanatic and has actually cycled over the Alpes.

Fashionistable - No, I think I'm way too shy for this, which is why I admire street fashion photographers like you all the more!

I haven't done it in years since I live in the city. It's kinda dangerous around here but I'd love to when I go on vacation.

Hope you're having a fabulous week! xoxo

It's a lifelong search to find "the one" but yours is so awesome I don't understand why it's not "the one" you want. I love it!

Bike fever is going around and I can't wait to have one!

That bike and backpack go so well together.

P.S. Sorry I never answered your comment you left about the dala horse. It's a traditional wooden horse that was made for children to play with.

Is that sunshine I see on your picture? In Germany? Please send some to the South! :( It's cold and cloudy down here, not possible to enjoy summer at all :'(

Your bag is very pretty :) I used to have two rucksacks that I loved, but they're long gone. Hope to find a beautiful one to replace them soon :)

Love the rucksack! I've been looking for the perfect vintage bike for a while now. Yours is utterly beautiful!

Nooo, I've been looking for a stylish backpack for ages and even wrote about it because my eyesore of a crossbody bag had started giving me shoulder pain! I am not travelling much right now so the need isn't so great, but I am still on the lookout for a nice backpack. maybe I should consider a vintage leather one, thanks for the idea! xx

Sabine you must definitely try the Swedish brand Fjällräven! They are very fashionable amonst the more esthetical pop groups in Sweden. I love them too but they don't fit my style at all. Besides rucksacks makes me feel so weird and stiff when I wear them. But these are really nice. Especially the vintage pieces.

Daphne said...

I've always had trouble finding a backpack that doesn't make me feel like a kid. I don't know how to be stylish and wear a backpack! I don't know whyyy! becuase I LOVE THE WAY THEY LOOK! Especially battered leather ones. I love yours of course. And I LOVE bicycling. Gorgeous photos and from what I can see I want that dress.

Two of my loves: biking and leather backpacks!

I'm really close to perfection with a vintage tan leather back pack, but it isn't quite big enough :(

INTRO TO MY LIFE said...

oh how i love a bike and now that its summer time its well needed, the only thing that can make it better is to have a nice vintage leather backpack

I cycle to my work everyday, but unfortunately don't look nearly as fashionable as you do.

I LOVE your bike! I just got back from the park and I was thinking how I need to get a bike to ride there. I would love one like this :)

I don't have any backpacks, I wouldn't mind the perfect little cue one though. I still have bad memories from the days of carrying around something about half my weight for school. Your bike is very cool!

Not a huge fan of cycling, though I agree it's the best way to get around. I blame it on Amsterdam making me hate it even more. There's something too scary about being stuck in trafic with 50 other backs, then getting stuck in a tramline. My colleague actually had a terrible accident this way which left her with a cracked skull. Nevertheless, I'm sure you're safer cycling in the UK ;-) Love the backpack!

eliza said...

I adore this! I wish I was braver and could actuall get on a bike to go to work..but alas, I will have to settle for walking because there's something about cars zooming about that makes me so nervous haha and then there,s the question of dress... I can't quite wrap my mind around flashing the world at 8 am with a mini skirt riding up my legs as I peddle... haha

I do love the backpack though! Perfect match for the bike :)

You have given me another wonderful idea....
I have a well worn Roots from Canada, back pack in brown.
Problem is, it weighs a ton. only holds a feather :)
But it would be cute displayed somewhere :)

You know, I'm glad you said the backpack is fashionable. I usually avoid one. I never seem to know when to wear one, and when not to.
