Dazed & Confused

I really don't know how it happened… It was kind of a stressful morning and I got all my supplements mixed up, which led to me swallowing a triple dose of melatonin. Gee, I was such an extremely relaxed traveller (I was actually wondering if I would be able to board the plane… 'What the heck is wrong with me? I’m soooooooo tired!'), and afterwards totally hopeless at tennis ('Ball coming, ball coming towaaaards me… okay, ball behind me…'). Now the effect has slowly vanished and I’m not only back in the UK, but also slowly able to open my eyes again.

Due to my dreamy state of mind I didn’t manage to take any pictures, but here’s one I took a while ago of 'girl with hat', and I'm sure you know a hat is the must-have, retro, funky, totally IN item of the season, worn by all fashionistas, celebs, style icons and it-girls...

Talking about Dazed & Confused... There is an interesting interview with Jefferson Hack on
Tavi’s blog.

Glad everything is okay now. That must have been such an interesting experience! Some allergy medicines make me soooo tired that I think I can relate...or maybe it's not even close.
I love the black and white effect on the picture. I bought myself a hat for this season!

even though it's actually not funny, this post made me laugh. really! :) good thing you are back - from berlin AND your melatonin trip!

It actually was quite funny...

Mmh so Actually this picture's "escaped from Sin City" aesthetic vibrancy tends to decline "with a Hat on Stylishness" on such a kindly dark/mischievous "Cartoon-esque" way !!!

Good thing it was only Melatonin and not something much stronger which would have knocked you out completely, causing you to fall asleep at the gate and miss your flight. ;)

Wouldn't that have been fun? They would have to carry me in... (although I have witnessed some easyjet flights where passengers were considered as 'unfit for flying', but that was more due to binging).

I once took Ambien in the morning instead of asthma medication. Zzzzzzz.

Oh dear! Another reason why I don't take supplements- I kid. I don't take them because I always forget. And I am so glad hats are in! I just bought another one and my husband thought I was crazy.

Glad you're feeling better (is it sad that I always play tennis like that?) I love hats, I just don't always love the way they look on me.

Cool picture! I like the effects! That is too funny, I agree, could have been something more hardcore, lol! Sabine, I am actually one of those people who was judged "unfit for flying" yup, but it was long, long ago and many things have changed since then, ha, it's pretty embarrassing but looking back from a great distance, somewhat amusing, as well. "Unfit for flying" is a really nice way of saying "sh*tfaced drunk" I think! XO!

Oh, sounds like an interesting state to be in. I hope you're back to your "regular" self again. =) I enjoyed your comment today on the blog. I think you are right - I think the routines or rituals are good to keep us doing those things that we know are good for our well-being, but at times we lose our initiative.
Enjoy taking it easy. =)

welcome back! i hope you had a nice time!!!

years ago i was on a road trip and i thought i was popping aspirin for my gnarly headache, but i was popping no doz after no doz after no doz when my headache just wouldn't go away. i was hopped up like a long-haul trucker. i started seeing foxes everywhere. or maybe they were really there? it was weird. weird.

oh my!! Don't you just hate when you mix your meds?! I had an incident once with a pain killer/ muscle relaxer combo that had me passed out unconscious! Glad you're home (safe & sound) and that the effects are finally wearing off!

HAH! Oh, my dear, be careful!!! That sounds a tad scary, but definitely funny after the fact! Hope you are feeling all better. I love the photos. Very pop art.
I did something very stupid- I moderated my comments on my iphone the other day when I was HALF asleep, and clicked "reject" instead of "publish" for your comment on my last post!! Boo hoo! I didn't even get to read it. Just saw your name and meant to publish it. Now I'll never know what it said- but the first couple words looked lovely, so thank you. I'll never moderate comments half asleep again!
