Unfinished Sympathy

Psynopsis Streetstyle London Black and White

Just when I thought I had overcome the bloody cold I got properly ill; which meant I totally pitied myself suddenly had a lot of time at my hand sitting in my bed being bored … So I invaded the Psynopsis space with a virtual broom, installed a view new pages and cleaned up the design. But NO PANIC! The blogroll and all links haven’t disappeared, they got an extra page, PLUS I put all my regular reads on feeds, so promise to be just as vociferous as always. (If you’d like to do a link exchange or feel left out, please feel free to drop me a note.)

Unless you count watching 5 Startreck films in a row as fun (they got worse and worse, or was that just me, slowly dying of Beam-me-up-Scottie overkill on the sofa?) I wasn’t up to much – so I leave you with this impression of frayed elegance from LFW. Oh, I’m a big fan of the good old pleated skirt, especially when it has a bit of umph like this one. Tiddilidi…

Got to watch the other 5 now.

You poor sweetie - hope you recover soon, my lovely. Nice idea with your links/friends page;-)
Now, who's that girl in the picture above?

Aw there is nothing worse that feeling sick :-(

I do love the fray on this skirt, really makes it interesting!

FAoF - Thank you! If only I knew. She just looked so chic, so I took a picture of her at London Fashion Week.

And haha, yes, the Star Trek movies do get worse as they go on! But that's part of the fun! It wouldn't be Star Trek if it wasn't a little bit ridiculous!

Feel better! I am about to poke around the site a little longer. And her shoes are amazing!

Love that skirt! can definitely see why it attracts you! and it's got that quirky classic edge that is SO you.

Get well soon hon and ohhh the Star Trek movies are kitschy fun! As much as I like Kirk and Spock et al, I love Captain Jean-Luc Picard ("make it so!")! You should watch the new 'Star Trek'... crazy fun.

Get well soon.

I like the square toe pumps - nothing wrong with a bit of Star Trek! I like watching back to back episodes of The City when I'm ill!

Hahaha I didn't know you were into star trek!

o, btw, just posted a detail shot of my chain wedges ;)

Get well soon, my dear Sabine. Nothing worse than feeling under the weather.
I couldn't wear an unhemmed skirt, I can see the attraction but it just looks wrong to me. xxx

Oh no, I hope you get well soon. Nothing worse than being stuck at home ill (especially if it involves Star Trek ;-)

Love that shot! I'm all for the pleated skirt as well.

I hope you're feeling better, though I'm sure you felt somewhat productive with the revmping of your blog space. I know I do whenever I get around to "sweeping" the place :o) I didn't realize you were such a Treckie! I've never been into any of those sci-fi series, but maybe I'm missing out on something!

How funny, Sabine: I was just thinking I hadn't heard from you - but then again I hadn't been visiting either - because I've had/still have that weird cold. It gets better, it gets worse.. anyway good for you for doing constructive stuff from your sick bed (or sick sofa). The blog looks great. I wish I could figure out how to put my blog roll neatly somewhere else. ACTUALLY.. I see you're on blogger so that's definitely something I should crack on with.

I'm looking round the posts I've missed but I must say I love this! I have this image of the woman just getting ready to go out to fashion week and saying, screw it, this skirt is three inches too long, and - while wearing it - taking a scissor to it. I did that on about Day Three - but with my hair. Just came out of the shower and thought, no time to sign up for the free haircut in the press lounge, and pulled out a scissor and gave myself a trim.

Hope you're feeling better. I saw the Star Trek line up on Film4 but missed the whole thing. Hope to meet you soon!! xx
