Psynopsis Vintage Liz Claiborne Skirt 2nd Hand Knit Sweater Givenchy Boots

Psynopsis Vintage Liz Claiborne Skirt Maledetti Toscani Backpack 2nd Hand Knit Sweater Givenchy Boots
With the knitting course looming I'm trying to put myself into a woolly mood. We're supposed to collect interesting materials and I'm starting to panic by the realisation that I have no vision whatsoever of what I want to produce. Maybe being close to the source will bring enlightenment… bah, bah-bah, baaaaah?!

boots: givenchy, shirt: zinco, lace tights: oroblu, OTK socks: borrowed from sarah, skirt: liz claiborne vintage, sweater: 2nd hand/diy, backpack: maledetti toscani, little golden purse: oroton (courtesy of the lovely Robinson Pfeffer crew)

Ok! I just love that you have sheep at your disposal for photo ops :) And who are you kidding about having no vision?! Are we talking about the same lady that constantly WOWS us with her brave and innovative take on fashion and photography? I think not! Because you have vision and then some! I'm sure we'll be blown away by whatever you create in your course!

I love the way that sheep is eyeing up your woollies in the background! No vision? Pah! I'll have to scan some of those marvellous 1950's and 1960's patterns I picked up the other day - swimsuits, trousers, hats...you name it. xxx

No vision?! With photography skills like yours? Me thinks you can not see the wool for the sheep, to badly coin a phrase x

Okay, okay, THANK YOU! I think I'm throwing a whobbly since my mum said I wasn't whacky enough for knitting designs. Mmmhh... I know it's silly, being grown up and all, but you know about the power of mums, don't you?

Veshoevius said...

Sure do (power of mum's that is) - just posted about mine! You look lovely and cosy in this outfit and don't worry inspiration will come. Start collecting anything and everything and the creative juices will start to flow!

You look absolutely ready to face the winters in this outfit. Love the cream [white!] layer on layers! And knowing your innovative and creative brain I am sure you will have no trouble coming up with patterns.

no vision? no way! :) may i suggest you produce a knit skirt? i'd love to see that even though i have no clue if this was a difficult thing to knit. or what about a prada-esque handbag? a huge sweater (oh that would be something i'd love to have :) ) a dior-like cardi with drawn-through silk ribbons. a poncho... no matter what - can't wait to see the result!

lovely outfit btw! knits in off-white/beige always look amazing!

Smart thinking Sabine! Loving these neutrals on you.
If anyone asks just tell them you like your creations to be organic, that'll fend them off for an hour or two ;)

Sexy and subtle layering is working well here. And I am a sucker for leather backpacks. I hope you are well.

I was a part of a knitting class as a kid and all we made was hairbands. I think now I've forgotten the art itself...but it's never too late to start I guess :) Love the cream, also, these socks look wonderful!

i love this oatmeal colored outfit with lots of texture and black boots- i'd wear this in a heartbeat.
good luck with the knitting. maybe start with a scarf since they're simple? my sis-in-law taught me how to knit recently. i was hoping to find it meditative and relaxing but i guess i have a long way to go!
