Psynopsis Vintage Jean Patou Skirt New Look Blouse Dorothy Perkins Vest

Psynopsis Textile Collage

Psynopsis Marc by Marc Jacobs Patent Leather Shoes
Trying to ease the I'm-not-playing-enough-tennis bad conscience by doing yoga resulted in a torn shoulder muscle (is it really that long ago since I last did the headstand?!), giving me the perfect reason to lap the top and search for a black leather t-shirt, which I think this metal studded skirt (which is not a polka dot skirt!) needs.

Now I’ve got 20 items in my Yoox dream box, but still no leather t-shirt. Ahh, recession-friendly shopping...

shoes: marc by marc jacobs, tights: la perla, shawl: diy/mum's cellar, blouse: new look, vest: dorothy perkins, skirt: jean patou vintage

Love these photos especially how you've captured the shoes. I'm very jealous of that metal studded skirt! I bought a leather fronted t-shirt from H&M not long back which had a cotton lining (sensible) but I think I would actually prefer an all leather one so I returned it. If you're interested I saw a beautiful one in a mag by a Singapore label called Raoul but it's a bit pricey (though nowhere near being up there with Celine)

Veshoevius - Thank you & yes, please! Is there a link? I looked at the H&M version too, but like you I didn't like the textile bit. xo

Metal studded skirt? Oh, it looked lovely when I thought it was polka dots and now I adore it.
I feel your pain, my knee has put paid to yoga and step aerobics at the moment. I feel like an out of shape mess. xxx

Oh no! Your shoulder! So sorry and I can't imagine how painful that must be. I do love your outfit though. Completely wonderful.

I don't believe it!!! You must be sending out a dreambox vibe as I haven't been on yoox in months and today I checked in and added a load of goodies to my dreambox! Comme de garcons maxi, marni shoes & furla gloves. I'm now feeling slightly depressed I can't have them all ;)

It's tough, isn't it? I'm tempted to order everything so I can do a big dressing up session and then send everything/most of it/some things home... But oh, the poor credit card!

Loving all the black & white polka goodness! As for Yoga, I stop doing it go a long time ago! Actually, I never quite "started"...a couple of classes sporadically doesn't exactly count as starting in my book!

I love the patterns photo because in my own photography I have been trying to capture them well.

Hope you feel better soon! Not being able to workout or do yoga can be really miserable. I know that!

That skirt is blowing me away, metal studs, you say?

Cute skirt and shoes! Yoox can be a dangerous thing (and not necessarily that cheap). Of course I made the mistake of going to a sample sale today, so that's even worse. Zara has some leather tees at the moment, but unfortunately they're not real leather and they also look nothing like real leather...

I thought they were rhinestones, and I was about to applaud you as the awesomest person on earth, but if they're studs, I can't think of a title amazing enough :)

Metal studded skirt, I to at 1st glance thought polka dots - so glad you told us cause now I really, really love it. I love the solarization of the shoes it always works really well with leather. I have not been able to manage it on the computer yet. Xxxx

Ha, I love how you emphatically said it is NOT a polka dot skirt and all the comments are how they love polka dots.

This is just one woman's opinion but I don't get it about leather for clothing (shoes, bags, jackets, okay, but even that.. I think I'm just becoming more vegetarian maybe?)

So my suggestion would be dress it down then dress it up: shredded black tee, black jumper with slashes in it.. bit of silver chains as bracelets.. especially with those gorgeous, girly Marc Jacob shoes, the top part could be pretty tough.

Almost forgot why I came here! CAn you send me your email please? jill@haybooks.com

Thanks Sabine! xox

Thanks for sharing these photos. The polk-a-dot skirt does blend well with the large-dotted blouse. Good post.
