Psynopsis Narciso Rodriguez Coat Givenchy Boots Self-Knitted Scarf Goldpfeil Bag
Can you read 'sales anticipation' written on my forehead? No? It's SO there, believe me. I'm not really good at spending. I mean, I actually am and I love shopping like anyone, but when I come home laden with bags I feel all guilty and have to clean the house (as if that would make the money come back). Then I run to my hunted treasures and try out everything in 101 different versions and I'm happy again. To my excuse (do I need an excuse? In my head I do…) I did not get ANY Christmas presents from the man (as agreed) and I totally beat the VAT increase – so I tell myself.

What about you? Did the sales fever grab you, too?

coat: narciso rodriguez, boots: givenchy, scarf: diy, bag: goldpfeil

Who needs sales with a wardrobe like yours, Sabine! I love everything you wear.
My sales buys were very useful, a new ironing board (reduced to a tenner) and six redcurrant bushes down to 10p each. xxx

What an incredible bag Sabine!
I'm not a great sale shopper, if the new stuff is out then I usually bypass the madness and pine over the shiny new things!! I blame working in retail, sale times are the worst! I 've been witness to a few occassions where it's induced near brawls in (hopefully) otherwise sane women.
If I do succumb it's usually online to avoid the madness!

Ha, THIS bag I got 15 years ago - in the SALES & love it like the first day. I had so much online disappointment that I was really up to hitting the real thing - it wasn't as bad as I feared, but then I only went to Zara, COS and Liberty London. That's just as much I can take...

The sales fever certainly did :)
I think that after Christmas and everything has settled is always the best time to go shop -- it's still just as fun getting Christmas presents after the fact as it would be on the day...hey but that's just me :D

I just spent 6 hours at the Outlets. So yes, the fever got me. Bad. Major sale on all leather purses, totes, and jackets. It was a dream come true.

And I just adore this photo of you.

Fever indeed! I can see the acute anticipation in the way you have that handbag tightly gripped and at the ready. Brilliant pop of colour with the bag and scarf. Have fun at the sales!

i think i'm quite sensible when it comes to money so i don't tend to go mad all at once. i picked up some suede brogues, a pair of wool trousers and a white shirt in the sales.

happy new year!
