Psynopsis Sarah Blonde Hair

Psynopsis Sarah Outdoor Look
Okay, here comes some European whining, and all of you on the other side of the equator might just skip this, or read with a gleeful smile. Aaanyway, it's dark, it's cold, it's gloomy… I do have escape mechanisms, yesss, I do - huge amounts of chocolate (Lindt, 70%), scented candles (which I ran out of), a litre of espresso in the morning and watching a mixture of True Blood, Californication (thank you, P, we love it!), Gossip Girl and Misfits. That should keep me sheltered from TRW, aka the real world. Staring longingly at pictures of warmer days helps, too.
Any other recipes how to survive winter?

P.S. 08/12/10 - After I couldn't sleep all night because I just wasn't happy with the pictures (kiiiidding... I wish, just call me Monica) I changed the layout to polaroids today. They are still the same pictures... That's what happens when you try to post under time pressure. Sorry, won't happen again. xo

I cannot possibly take part in this discussion....I'm way too depressed from the cold...

My neighbour left today for a two week holiday in the Caribbean. Back home is me, sweating over my exams.

It is so bloody unfair!!!!!!!!!!!

I would love to eat Lindt chocolate all day, everyday if I could. I can never eat enough of that stuff!

I don't think I would mind so much if I wasn't constantly freeeezing!! Don't remember suffering this much, I must be getting old.
I think the only way to get through is heavy doses of evening tv and endless hot chocolate

I keep telling myself we're nearly at the winter equinox, and then the nights will be getting lighter!

Your winter survival strategies sound lovely! Personally I wear many, many sweaters, sit as close to the woodstove as possible and drink several pots of tea a day.

I love your little winter den :) Wish I could just hide out for a few days/months!

As for posting under pressure, I change my photos, layouts writing a gazillion times before I post. Not kidding. It's pretty bad :o/ I doubt anyone really notices though.

The cold is something to reckon with isn't it?! Don't really have any remedies asides from copious amounts of tea and warm blankets and fireplaces. Sounds like you a long ways ahead of me though!Stay warm.

Amazingly jealous of your being snowed in, Diptyque candles or no. We get nothing of the sort here, maybe the occasional hurricane, which isn't even fun at all. Photos are lovely!

Too bad we can't do some sort of life-swap for the winter. It's too warm for my liking here! Even my knit tights are too heavy for this weather. :/

She is so cute! And that's such a chic outfit, especially for the countryside.

PS: the layout looks wonderful.

Hi my dear-thats a lovely picture of Sarah!! If you like ginger, at Holland and Barratt they sell Rochester Dickensian ginger, which gives a great non alcoholic kick and is a perfect nip for winter evenings!!

So funny... but you know, the cold always makes me pull out the summer photos and try to make myself remember what the warm sun feels like while lying on a sandy beach :)
Hold on to your chocolate ( I love that Lindt too!)

Love the boots. I'm so sad about this cold weather...hate that it gets dark so early too! But, yeah, chocolate and Gossip Girl and espresso are great ways to get through.

I like to take hot showers in the winter & read books by the fire/heater (whichever is available!).

Californication is awesome!
