Psynopsis Miu Miu Skirt Ash Boots Topshop Trenchcoat

Psynopsis DIY Bag
It's cold, or as I recently heard 'proper New York winter cold'. Now, I've never been to New York in the winter, only in summers; and as a child I associated New York with the place where you were standing for hours in a traffic jam stuck between smelly garbage lorries (the one in front of us slowly dropping waste onto our car bonnet). But that's ages ago and surely all changed... Here in the (cold) present I picked red for the simple reason that it's supposed to give you heat. Still the hands were frozen after the shoot, but I hear it's gonna warm up soon.

sweater: pringle sports/ vintage, skirt: miu miu, coat: topshop, scarf: from mum, boots: ash, bag: diy

You look so snug and cosy, the red certainly gives the effect of looking warming. It's horrible, isn't it? I remember a trip to Boston ages ago and I was so cold throughout the entire trip. xxx

Ok, i don't want to depress you but i've just heard it's to get crazy cold in the middle of feb again. I really hope this is lies, i can't take it anymore *wails*
Anyhow back to the matter in hand, great shoot hand and i'm a total red lover (i had no idea it had heat giving properties, will need!)
Also that longer line leather jacket is perfect. You're like an elegant punk Sabine!

Tell me about it. I was out and about style hunting today and I gotta tell you, every part of my body aches!

I did not know the theory of red and heat. Does it really work? Me thinks not.

Hi there-it is so cold at the moment, but red is so vibrant and you look so stylish as usual my dear, a lovely snug outfit choice! xx

I was up north this weekend but so coming back to London and it doesn't felt quite so bad! Love the red look against this almost autumnal backdrop - who would know it is sub zero temperatures - and the long line leather biker has me weak at the knees!

Vint Junky & Veshoevius - Girls, I've got to disappoint you. It's not leather, but just a cotton waxed trench coat from Topshop. It makes me very happy to hear that it looks leathery cool though.

Don't you just wish for spring to arrive like tomorrow? Even we, who are more used to the freezing temperatures than you guys over in the UK are, are getting really fed up with the cold. It's so depressing.

When that is said, just have to comment on picture #3. What a gorgeous shot of you!

Red certainly makes a great impact like this fab dress you're wearing. Hope it does get warmer there soon

i love your outfit. the perfect mix of laid-bag coolness and feminine sharpness, i would call it. the shoes to the dress to the fantastic leather jacket...

we're going through a sandstorm here in dubai today. it's super windy, the sky is yellow-brown-ish and the air full of sand. yesterday we had a burst pipe in our house - the shoes in our corridor were swimming on centimeter high water. cats were screaming from the first floor. it was like a biblical punishment. but still - i don't envy your winter cold. :) stay strong and healthy, Sabine!

I can attest that New York is still ridden with traffic jams and smelly garbage in the winter too. But it's also freakin' cold!!! Glad this cold weather is not a norm for you. I've just about had it this winter. It's snowed every week since Christmas. And try navigating through traffic in that snow...not fun!

INTRO TO MY LIFE said...

for the most part that is NY. the snow here have been so unnecessary and i just know the summer will be just as hot lol. your outfit looks very cute and fit for the weather
