Psynopsis Rag and Bone Silk Shirt New Look Corduroy Trousers

Psynopsis H&M Bag
Rediscovering clothes is sweet. You've totally forgotten about them and if they hadn't been rotting in a corner of your wardrobe they might long have made it to the Oxfam shop. But laziness be praised, there they are, and 6 years later Sarah's tattered school bag and old flares seem strangely attractive. Also totally stocked up on silk shirts in the sales.

trousers: new look, shirt: rag & bone, shoes: zara, belt: 2nd hand, t-shirt: cos, bag: h&m kids

Do you think so, Hannah? I wasn't so sure about them when I bought the shirt, but now I like them.

I'm glad to see a post showing that hoarding can pay dividends as all I've seen since the new year is lots of wardrobe detox posts which I have an aversion to doing myself. You're the second blogger I've come across in the past couple of days who has dragged out and rediscovered an old pair of cordorouy flares - perhaps they are due for a comeback! (they were always very comfy) And wouldn't you know it I got rid of my two pairs in my last wardrobe detox - doh!

oh yes it's really fun to look through old clothes. i have the basement stacked with clothes and once in a while i go down there to swap an item in my closet for something from the basement..
love the bag dear!

And now you just made me regret throwing out my old comfy corduroy flares, arh! They would have been perfect for now, when will I learn? Must consult ebay now. :D

one of my favourites! those old flares look unbelievably good on you - so laid-back. i think it's the combination with the beautiful shirt and the cute flats. (the shirt is super cool!)

wanted to get some simple nicely flowing shirts as well, but couldn't hardly find any that looked good on me. do you also find it strange that some look almost identical on the hanger but totally different on you?

SabinePsynopsis said...

Absolutely, Kazuko. This was love at first sight though. There was another Rag & Bone silk shirt, but that would have been draining my bank account too much.

you bought me with the previous postz and look. this one is a more vintage look, thanks to aging clothes in the wardrobe

The shirt is fabulous. isn't it amazing how items from the Nether regions of the wardrobe suddenly reemerge with such great appeal! That bag does look great, though.

Ahh this is the one thing I love about getting older, apart from the wisdom (not sure when that starts hoping it's soon!) You have all these fantastic things lurking in your closet space that you've forgotten. These worn in cords are so perfect and I absolutely love the flare.
Gah! You just reminded me of a navy pair I had when I was younger... Ok, thinking back I had to throw them out; they were threadbare!!

It's the best when you rediscover things, isn't it? It's like going shopping in your own wardrobe. And it doesn't cost a thing. How fabulous is that? :) xoxo
