Okay, only Dee* wore a riding hat, but there were A LOT of hats at Somerset House - and they looked good. So good that I'm wondering if I might finally overcome my fear of hats this year.** Heya!
* I don't know how they do it, but every time I met Dee and Rory from Icone du Jour I felt happy. They just are the coolest and nicest couple.
** And if I knew the name of the girl with the red hat I would know where I could get one because I remember that she said her mum makes them – and this one is just perfect.
Update 28/02/2011 – Sienna is wearing a panama head from Pachacuti.

Oooh, love the red hat!
I adore hats and these are no exception. Have a nice weekend.
Not many people wear hats in Spain, so I´ll go for the lady on the right: Dee´s lacey laggings, shoes and belt.
Have a grand weekend.

I love her hat, and her happiness great picture :)
Her mom makes them? What?! I debated whether or not I should wear my fedora today. Looks like I will!
indeed there were a lot of nice hats- i particularly like the really big ones
wish you a nice friday dear
xx
You are right there were quite a lot of hats happening - but then again it was cold and wet most of the time, hey. your picture is great and that red hat is beautiful - who is that girl......? Xxxx
Hats are brilliant. I have half a dozen--and will probably get half a dozen more this spring/summer. I'm unsure if *anything* makes heads turn as much as wearing a hat--it's so arresting!
Hehe i agree with you, they are very nice couple! (:
Have a nice weekend (:
Modafobik.
Wow, what an amazing looking pair! Admittedly the riding hat is unusual, but heck it's London Fashion Week - anything goes and she looks stunning!
Hi there-fabulous photo my dear, the hats are great!! xx
What gorgeous ladies! I do love a hat but my head is mahoosive and nothing ever fits. xxx
How cool are they!?! And I think you really should go for it and give hat's a try, sweetie. Everything looks amazing on you!
Have a wonderful weekend! xoxo

Hats were the order of the day at fashion week.
i don't even own one hat! That's shameful, right? I better buy some for this S/S season, you've just inspired me Sabine :)
oh hats are coming back nowadays =D and the lace leggings catches my attention!
very cute, i want want want
That is definitely one of the best lace leggings looks I've seen so far! x
Great looks. The red hat is lovely.
hellooo missy!! long time no speak!
the riding hat....ROCKS!! hehehe.. :) xx
That riding hat is perfection. I bought one last fall sans the strap but it makes my head look weird.
I hope you get into hats this year! They're so much fun (when they're not making your head look like a misshapen egg, that is).
Great red hat...just in reply to your comment from the other day, it's so great that your blog's got you to the front row with Sarah Mower! I forgot to mention that she does an illustrated trend page in Japanese Vogue and when I worked there I was the editor for that page! So I had to find and shoot all the pieces she talked about in the article. Her illustrations are really cute! She's a woman of many talents.
if you want to get a head get a hat
I always think other people look good in hats, yet I buy them and never wear them - need to start I guess! (-:
Oh I could definitely see you in a fedora like garance. You'd look great
Love the riding hat and yes that cherry red is justperfect.
xxx
Ps. Great shot!
The red hat is very cool - perfect shape. xx
I wore hats a lot when I was younger and would like to start again so if you find out name of red hat woman's mum let me know!
That red hat is AMAZING. I love hats!
I'm deathly afraid of wearing hats too :) Not sure why though. My mom desperately wanted me to be a "hat girl" growing up, but it never took. I like them, just not on me!
Sabine, I adore wearing hats, they add so much to an ensemble!!

adorable!!
Thanks Sabine darling,
Such kind words, myself and Rore are very flattered. You're doing great work with your blog. I very much like your style and the angle from which you approach fashion. Looking forward to following you in the future. BTW if you're ever en-route to Dublin give us a shout we've a guest room with your name on it! Thanks for all the lovely comments guys I'm going to stick a Chanel badge on the riding hat and give it another outing!! Rore didn't know the hat was in his carry-on going through airport security, I stuck it in his bag cos he's a lighter traveller than moi, he was surprised when questioned by airport security "are you going riding sir?" He thought it was a bit rude until he unpacked!!heehehheehehe
Kisses
Dee
