Psynopsis Self-Knitted Sweater Vintage Jumpsuit DIY Clutch
Getting to know my 2nd hand knitting machine is a bit like trying to understand a moody lover… 'Have I rubbed you the wrong way, daaahling, or why are you letting all stitches drop WITHOUT A WARNING??!' But as with all delicate beings moving slowly and trying to understand the peculiar sensitivities helps to improve our relationship bit by bit. Now if I only accepted that I'm not the size of a 10 year old child and stopped producing sweaters I can hardly squeeze into – I'd see endless possibilities at the horizon…

Psynopsis Self-Knitted Sweater DIY Clutch

The outfit? Spent the 2nd weekend sorting our storage. T.O.O. M.U.C.H. S.T.U.F.F.

UPDATE: I'm starting to feel like a cheat. I have not knitted the complicated design in the 2nd picture. It's the same sweater as in pic 1, just a bit photoshopped - to visualize the endless possibilities (sadly far from my realities).

boots: decathlon, work-suit: 2nd hand, sweater: diy, clutch: diy

You have me laughing...I think it is fantastic. I love them both, but the second one is complicated. i am loving the mixture of colours and patterns. You are doing really well, Sabine.

Ah, thank you, Sacramento. The 2nd picture is just a visual variation to what I could aspire to... but it's still the same sweater as in the first picture.

What a great idea! (to visualise it first in photoshop). I can see exactly how you did it - very clever lady.

That is such sage advice: 'as with all delicate beings..' I admire your patience. I'd tend to do what I did with all the moody lovers: break up with them. Or more to the point, I'd 'be a bitch' and let them break up with me.

Patience is such a virtue, and I'm sure it will pay off.

I want to see what you're selling on eBay! Please share it with us! Thank you for your wonderful comment by the way. Hope you're well & sending you hugs xox

Wow, nice work! What knitting machine do you have?

It looks like those classes paid off....you're getting better and better! And look at all that color! I need to take cue from you and incorporate more color into my wardrobe :)

Gorgeous sweater, both the real DIY and the photoshopped one ;-) So when will we see your designs on the runway? I actually prefer the simpler one - the second version has almost too much going on for my taste. Is that a jumpsuit? Love the idea of wearing the trousers only (but NEVER wear it as a whole! Jumpsuits only look good on toddlers).

northwest is best - I'm using a brother. At CSM we had both (brother and silverreed), but I liked brothers better. They seem a bit sturdier.
