Psynopsis Vince Cashmere Sweater

Psynopsis Henry Kitten

BE WARNED, but since (some of) you asked for it… here comes cutsie attack Henry*. Somehow it doesn't matter if it's a cat or a human – a new baby comes with lack of sleep and jealous siblings** and endless challenges to entertain the little one. But ohh, he's so funny. With all these mum tasks I hardly ever change out of my sweatpants anymore (except for the day when I wore the new yellow trousers to work – so out of my comfort zone!). Luckily I found the softest, cosiest grey cashmere sweater to go with the old trackies. It's cuddliness all around.

*Although for anyone suffering from Ailurophobia (yeap, I wikied this) I'm sure the first picture could trigger a lingering irrational fear of cats.
**Or in our case jealous, hissing existing cat. Lily doesn't take to him kindly. I really hope it's only a question of time… Do you have any experiences with introducing a new kitten to the house?

sweater: vince, trousers: marc aurel (vintage)

He is the most adorable ever! Welcome Henry!!

Henry is the cutest little kitty ever, I'm rather smitten. Female cats are terribly territorial but do adjust to sharing their home with boy cats. If Henry was a girl Lily would never forgive you. xxx
PS Your outfit looks very luxe and chic

oh my - that's one tiger! he looks like he's gonna be huge. and the colour of his eyes. so special. he is adorable - and so self-confident! :) i wanna steal him.

give lily some time. our atze was very disappointed thus not very kind when we got feia (for atze's entertainment btw). and it took a while, like a couple of months, until she fully tolerated feia. still they aren't besties, but they also don't wanna be without each other.

please give us more henry! he fits perfectly into this post! (btw: you look as adorable in that big soft sweater and the pants! absolutely my thing!) xo

fierce but super cute!

oh he is a CUTIE!!!

it might take a bit of time for lily to adjust. eee. make sure to give lily LOTS of loving so lily doesn't feel as if henry is the new favorite.

tuna and treats might ease the transition. and special ALONE time with lily might reinforce that you guys have a strong bond.

best of luck, and i hope it gets better and better!!! someday they will be friends. hopefully! :)

Oh, he's PRECIOUS! I fostered two cats when I lived in Boston. At first, when I introduced the kitten to the big cat they seemed to hate each other and it totally stressed me out. I tried to keep them segregated in different rooms, get them used to each other's scents, everything...finally, one day I just left them in the apartment to fend for themselves and when I came back they were both completely fine and without injuries. Anyway, after that I didn't stress much and they came to love each other, just took a little time. :)

Awwwww, he's gorgeous - what a cutie! Bet he's into everything! What a lovely little bundle of fun. xx

Vix - I know it's confusing - Lily actually is a boy. We got it wrong in the beginning and didn't bother to change the name.

Thank you so much for your advise. Susie, I can really relate to your stress, and hearing your story helps to relax.

SO CUTE! But just warning you - the lack of sleep thing does not necessarily stop when the cat gets older. In fact, my lack of sleep started in Suki's old age... she wants to go out/eat/drink/have a cuddle/have a chat/think about the universe and tell me about it about 1000 times every night!

You captured a great shot in that first photo! What a cutie... and this is coming from a non-cat lover (I do prefer dogs).

Ah, your jumper looks so warm and embracing - on cats: No pets at the house apart from humans, but my sister has a house full of cats.
I ought to introduce her to this post;-)
