Psynopsis Me & Kashmere Scarf Vintage Rene Lezard Skirt Bally Sandals
Being made of rather poor mother material and totally hopeless at understanding the English educational system Sarah has decided to drag me to Nottingham for Open University Day. And as I've also never ventured further north than Oxford (except the 2 times we drove through the night to end up in Scotland) I'm feeling rather excited about the trip.* Gotta rush!
Psynopsis Blurred Running with Be&D Bag

Happy weekend ♥ ♥ ♥

*I don't know how much time we've got, but if you are a Nottingham connaisseur and have some tips where we should definitely go... Tell me!

** Yeap, same clothes as in the last post. I never change. It's just too much bother.

skirt: rené lezard vintage, shoes: bally, angora sweater: 2nd hand, bag: be&d, scarf: me & kashmiere

you look beautiful in that white skirt!

open university day in nottingham - hach... it must be so nice to study in England! When is Sarah planning to start her studies (and what is she going to study)? anyway, have a wonderful trip!

Thank you, Kazuko. I'm feeling the call for white bottoms and black tops lately (it used to be the other way round).

Yes, I think studying in the UK must be quite wonderful - which is why Sarah is determined to go for it; no matter the costs. She's looking at American Studies (obviously flirting with a semester or 2 in the US).

I've only visited Nottingham for gigs and unsuccessful job interviews, but the Market Square in the centre is a great place to sit out if the sun's shining. And you should get up north - come and visit in Manchester, I'll show you the sites!

oh sabine enjoy (if you haven't already been). i have been to nottingham a couple of times - for a job interview and a night out. lovely place!

Oh, I've never been. I'm sure you won't have a problem discovering the place for yourself. I really need to see more of the UK. Was in Oxford for a few days a while ago (my husband's Alma Mater is Oxford University) and I explored a lot of the UK when I was younger. Really want to go back to Bath and York.

P.S. I can't believe you did the fish therapy thing, but maybe I should give it a try. I think I've seen those in Camden and even in Topshop.

Such a cute outfit (I tend to do lots of outfit-repeats too). In fact, I'm pretty sure the last five times I've been in Joe & the Juice I've been wearing the same dress...pretty sure they think it's my uniform!

Never been to Nottingham, either, so can't help you there. Haven't been further north than Wales, altho I'm longing to go to Scotland (every time I hear Jennifer/Style East is going I wish I could stow away!)

Hope you're having (had?) a great time and it's funny: I've been feeling the call for black top/white bottoms for, oh I guess a few years now. My favourite go to outfit. Even yesterday - hot as it was - I felt like starting the day with a Gap black long sleeved tee and white shorts. Might just use your influence and wear it this morning to write in Cafe Nero!

See/speak soon and hope you & Sarah are having fun. Oh and I can't figure out the English school system to save my life! It's like cricket. I still don't know the difference between an A and an O level.
