As soon as my siblings started popping children my brother feared that from now on my sole aim in life would be to infect the little ones with the 'evil fashion bug'… So true to form and to train them early I raided the Petit Bateau shop (finally asking the SA in desperation: "Are they really THAT small?!"). Now I'm off to do my evil aunt deeds…
… in my new knit skirt. After all the swinginess I tried my hand at the pencil shape. I quite like it, but I do wonder if the skirt asks for a matching top.
skirt and scarf: diy, sweater: topshop, shoes: zara (you must be dead bored by these shoes by now; they just seem to go with everything), bag: goldpfeil, hat: acubra

Hi my dear!! Totally adore the skirt you look amazing and it really is very stylish and unique! Hope you're well and have a great week too x
Well, if you were my aunt we would be going shopping every single weekend. You always are so fabulous!
aunts, sisters, grandmas... you sometimes can't have enough of them, can you? (unfort., my family is super small) love your outfit - and no, don't match your top with your skirt. you did it just right - that slouchy, half-tucked brownish top looks so cool!
I am sure you will be their fav. aunt! :D Absolutely loving the colors ... there have an autumn feel to them!

you look gorgeous, totally wish i had your figure. really like the colours here.
You are the coolest aunt in the world! I love that pencil skirt on you, I'd love to see a matching top. x
That's a lovely skirt! You made it?! Wow! You keep getting better and better every day. What wouldn't I give for an aunt like you to shower me with fashionable gifts :)
Hang on.. I don't understand, did you DIY that gorgeous pencil skirt FROM a Zara sweater? Or did you knit it from scratch? In any case, I love the whole look and not sick of those pretty green court shoes!
As another bad influence aunt - I've been known to let my young niece wear my clothes out, to restaurants, when she's felt she had brought 'nothing to wear' to the beach house - I have to admit, I love being a bad influence. Are you travelling somewhere to see them? If so - safe trip, have fun. For some reason I'm not understanding your post today - I think it's me.

Fantastic color block knitting! I wish I had the same talent. I love your whole pencil, lean and mean silhouette. All the better to be Evil Aunt with. (and yes, why is Petit Bateau so ... petit?)
Oh, you do like the Aunt about to embark on that "evil fashion thingie" that certain aunts do to young minds. I have a little niece and I can already see how she covets what her aunt has. Evil little one!
I love the DIY skirt scarf. And the top is just fine with that skirt.
Well just look at this. Beautiful Sabine. The colour palette is wonderful. Love it. We are a family of girls and all like our fashion so this was never a concern for me the trendier and fashionable the better. Xxxx
That skirt is soo cute! And I love it worn with the hat!
Awww awesome, I know pretty much noone with a baby but I do still love petit bateau!
Love the skirt too - nice to see a good whole one for winter ;)
Good for you!!!
You pull off that dress like no other.

Lovely outfit, beautiful colors.
Sabine, you have to make more skirts like this and sell them online to blogger friends like me!
Love the colour combo in the skirt, and the waist detail is great too. How cute would it be made as little bloomers for kids!?
Love the colors..and I think the top looks just fine..the matching one would take the attention away from the skirt :)

That skirt is definitely asking for a matching top! I love the slightly less flashy take on the primary colours, very eye catching but not like something from a kindergarten classroom poster.
I love your knitted pencil skirt- so very chic! I want one now too- I think it would be great to wear to the office :)
star-crossed smile
