Psynopsis Creed Spring Flower
It's a strange thing how our taste and odour buds change with the climate. Since having arrived in Italy I'm into drinking litres of sugared espresso and bathing in Campari-O (nah, I don't mind the sticky hair)… And the smells! My default perfume feels way too heavy here. And Creed's Spring Flower a bit too sweet... Karin is using a citrussy Jo Malone fragrance… which I really need to nick from her.

As you say I am sure it is the clime. I guess we need heavier perfumes in the cold to keep us warm. Xxxx

I tend to feel more at home in lighter more citrusy scent in hot weather too - I like Origins ginger one.

i hope you are having the BEST TIME EVER!!!!

i am so picky about perfumes! but you are right -- light fragrances just seem right during the summer time.

my favorite scent in the world was discontinued years ago, and it still makes me sad. it was by l'occitone (sp?). it was so perfect -- at least for me, but apparently for nobody else since they quit making it.

p.s. i like some jo malone scents -- but they sure don't seem to stick around for long. but that is better than being overpowering and never-ending, i suppose!

I never think of taking perfume away with me, the only thing I smell of abroad is mosquito repellent! x

Perfume definitely depends on where you are. I change up all the time and I actually never wear any when I'm at the beach on Fire Island because it's way too buggy there. xoxo

Creed's Spring Flower was my favorite for years!!! Wore it every day until I realized there were other scents to wear. Now it's Jo Malone too, mixing Nectarine with Orange Blossom for just the right sweet & citrus flavors. Your holiday sounds like summer heaven! -- J xxx
